The site can't really tell why a player disconnects. The warnings are based on a percentage of overall completed game to those abandoned.

I received this warning because I refused to play against a player I had blocked. I block fishy players. Blocking should prevent pairing, but does not seems to do so on this site.

Fishy players?  There are ways to cheat/cheaters on the site?  How can you tell???

...or do you mean people playing under their experience level?

Having to wait in a 10 minute game makes you "rage"?

Chess isnt your game.

I don't know how they do it, but ~3% of my opponents the past two years have been banned.

Thanks Diakonia!!!  Wanna take any more shots instead of adding something to the thread?

I'm losing my hair too, wanna pick on that?  How about wearing glasses... Why be such a jerk for no reason?  What did you get out of that comment?

I wear glasses too, so that wont work.

Still have all my hair, so thats good.

Considering you get "raged" over having to wait during a 10 minute game.  Im not shocked you took my comment negatively.  It wasnt meant to be negative, just a suggestion. If you dont have the patience for a 10 minute games of chess, chess may not be for you.  But im sure that will enrage you too.

Read this, and hopefully this may explain what im saying.

Then again, if you cant get through a G10, you might have trouble reading this.

I spent twenty minutes on a single move Sunday morning in an OTB tournament. The next move, I spent five minutes, and thirteen the next. I must have bored my opponent to death playing so slowly because he gave away the advantage about two moves later.

I spent 45 minutes on a single move once.  The game ended drawn.

You're assuming I quit because of game duration and not simple mistakes... you know what they say about assumption.  It makes an ass of you... and me.

If you do play blitz on shit connection, you kind of bear responsibility for you choice of game format and inability to predict that you will upset several players thanks your connection quality.

Daily chess, does it sound like bearable alternative? Also if you have disconnected form 5 games due to rage, and you have played in total 41 games... Well, in my opinion you are a sod, sorry.

A student of mine spent 45 minutes on his first move in a game at the Spokane Chess Club. My 1.g3 surprised him. We agreed to a draw late in the game when I was clearly worse, but he was under one minute.

Another opponent spent 43 minutes on a move, but my reply was instant, coming after a mere 17 minutes. That one hour move was in game/2 hours tournament when I was still using an analog clock. I won the game, but he and I tied for first in the event.

Diakonia, I feel like we've came all the way around from random slingshot comments to almost friends!  I'd challenge you if you didn't have a win streak of a million.

BTW, what do the numbers next to the screen names mean?  I believe mine says 3 or 400 something...

Gotta give you a ^5 there Sir!

Much of what i post does come across as condescendinig, but for the most part its not meant that way.  I just post short and sweet honest comments.  I thank you for seeing that.

What numbers are you referring to?

On the about me, games, or activity tab?
