My young son and daughter are so very different in such unpredicatable ways... clearly biology and environment are both at work... but how these things interrelate I could not presume to understand.
Men and women do not have anatomically identical brains, btw. The corpus callosum for one (this is the main connecting pathway between the right and left hemispheres of the brain) is distinctly larger in women than in men (a lay person with bare eyes can see the difference). Whether the anatomical differences in men and women's brains result in something we would call a "female" way of thinking vs. a "male" way is not known.

hope women will talk about this topic some more cause i think women are more sensitive than men and they think they have more pain control cause of birth and i would like to know if its genetic or it comes with the growing process

Quite by accident, recently I came across an article (in the office at my kids' elementary school, oddly enough) discussing more than 100 (!) anatomical differences in the make up of men's and women's brains... this was responsible journalism with no axe to grind that I could detect about women's or men's supposed superiority/inferority/equality -- the main point of the article being: hey, men's and women's brains are surprisingly different. I've been unable to find as complete an anatomical comparision article online however.

I'm a female and I used to argue that differences are environmentally caused because I do not fit in the typical mold of "female thinking" or female hobbies. Perhaps I should have my brain examined.
By the way, lots of boys I know care about what they are going to wear once they figure out that it gets them more attention and respect.
This question is too overwhelming for the scope of this website.
Is it time for another sexist twit thread already?
BTW, brain structure variations are greater within the sexes than between the sexes.

Wait...is that right? The structure variations are more between individual females than between men and women? That would make more sense to me.
