To come back to my post number 1, do BBC ,CNN or Russian TVs,telecast Chess news? Do they recognize Chess as a sports event? The Indian TV media always share Chess under the sports news category.

where do you see indian news covering chess? if anything, even despits Anand, chess is woefully ignored in indian mainstram media. They only cover the WC matches.
Even the london classic only got a mention in the news stories scrolling at the bottom.
Does BBC TV cover London Chess Classic? For that matter, does BBC cover any Chess event? Does Russia Today TV has any program on Chess? If so the timings please!
