One of the early 20th century greats (Alekhine or Capablanca I think) playing a relative unknown. The the game ended with a knight and queen advance on the king's side, I believe the winning player was white. It was the game where the losing player simply got up and left without resigning with somelike a 10 move mate or disastereous loss of material on the table. This is all very vague, but I would really like to find that game again.

This is Steinitz vs Bardeleben. It isn't exactly what you describe, but Bardeleben walked out basically letting his time run out. Reports on this are sketchy I believe... some reports have it that he left a note saying good game... but regardless... it is an amazing combination and Bardeleben was apparently a bad sport about the loss.
