in live chess almost all games slower than 3/0 are engines users..thats why even GMs like Suba cant reach 2000

I'm sure this is wrong. I always download my games from here and do a analyse with help of an engine.

I have played almost 100 slow games, and of all these, I have suspected computer use only once (which I reported to the staff).

Here's a better comparison than: "this is my experience, so it must be true for everyone"

Also, if you're new to tournament chess, you'll do worse until you gain experience and adjust.

If you're new to online or to blitz chess (etc) then you'll do worse in that format until you gain experience and adjust.

I'm uscf rated 1860 atm and have been over 1900 recently yet my blitz rating here is 1640 and bullet 1500 hmm..

I haven't played standard in a long time because I have otb for that.

I hate playing kids in OTB tournament. They are often stronger than their rating as their rating lags behind their true ability. I would rather play a middle-aged man who has played OTB for 40 years than a 10 year old kid. They are tough to beat.

I played an OTB tournament a few months ago. The kid played very rapidly and while my clock ran, he played with the captured pieces, stacking them up like toys.  Yes, I lost to him. He barely paid attention to the position on the board and still beat me.  They are tough to beat.

I have a couple of friends who are IMs and they say the same thing. Teenagers at their level give them trouble too.

If you lose to a nine-year-old, play an eight-year-old next time.

I don't have a problem losing to a kid. The only thing that annoys me is to lose against a stupid philidor player who just repeats his braindead setup in every single game. (d6, Nf6, e5, Nbd7, c6, Qc7, Be7, h6 bla bla uuuhh my decisions are so complicated).

They always repeat the same moves and mistakes over and over again.

Of  course it depends on me to exploit those mistakes but I don't respect them as a player.

Kids can be very dangerous and must be respected otb just like any adult should. Children in general are not as 'innocent' as people like to think they are so my advice to you is to treat them like any other adult chess player and just play your game, respect their game and the results will be the results.

That's right people. RESPECT THE TOMATO!!!

Literally have not taken chess lessons in a few years and all I do is play blitz and do tactics trainer here. Great improvement now OTB 1575 but I can't seem to break 1450 here sad.png. Kids should never be underestimated because a lot of them are so good if they start early. I know a couple of them that are masters already and they are less than 13 years old.

If you play against kid chess players my advise is do not play sharp opening play like sicilian or ruy lopez. Play a conservative openings. Don’t engage them in a tactical row. They are as sharp as a pencil.

Is it worse if the kid, let's say 11 years or younger, is a girl?

Give Rochelle Wu another year, and she will be playing in the Womens US Championship.  A friend lost to her, and that happened to be the game that put her over 2200.  So at least he has that...
