Making a move and offering draw

Hello all

I came upan a problem with some players  not responding to "offer draw" when its a clear case of draw.

It maybe for some reason they dont see the offer on the right side in messages ,and respond  only to red  sign showing "my turn" so i suggest  making a move and offering draw possible , so they will know its their turn and then when they display the board they will see the draw offer.

They see the offer IMHO and aren't interested, no matter how much you think it's a draw or how much it really is a draw. If they were interested they'd offer a draw or accept your offer.

A lot of players here will not chat or respond to draw offers, chat, notes, messages etc under any circumstances whatsoever and that's just the way it is here.

I recently played a game where it was an obvious perpetual and I got an email that said my opponent offered a draw but I saw nowhere to accept it. I signed off and got back in and even refreshed but saw no button or icon to hit that said "draw offered" or "accept draw" or anything. I then sent my own draw offer and it was accepted but I still don't know how. Maybe it's me but I saw nothing.

Are these "Draw offers" usually in the endgame, or can they be in the middle game? Im wondering because I imagine these situations oftentimes hard to see (i.e. I have no experience with them, especially in the middle game). I ask because I wonder if this tactic is used to avoid losing (I suppose the other player would have to be oblivious to this).

When the opponent offers a draw, your offer draw button should turn into an accept draw button. It may not look very different, but in essence, you both "offer" draws to each other.

Ok, thanks Jerry2468.

It's there, but I agree it should be much more obvious.
