Mandatory rematch accepts?

I noticed that many here never accept rematch. Obviously they are afraid I will crush them again. My suggestion is to make people accept rematches or automatically accept a loss to the opponent that requested it. This way we can really prove who is the better player and not just who got a lucky checkmate.

You've got one hell of an ego. They got a "lucky checkmate?" Maybe they just took advantage of your last error. It takes time to be mated; didn't you see your adversary's pieces massing and the weaknesses in your position that made their win possible? Your idea of getting an automatic win just because a past opponent refuses a rematch is laziness. It's an attempt to boost your rating without earning it while hurting that of whoever last kicked your butt. That's not fair to your opponents. Boost your rating the old-fashioned way: earn it.

Yes, the OP certainly is amazed by his own mediocre talent (see his other thread topics). And he clearly couldn't care less why anybody else is here, to him we exist only to stroke his already overly-self-stroked ego. It matters not whether his opponent wants to play him again or not, the opponent should be forced to simply because OP demands it.

But... buried in the troll-ish garbage, maybe there lies a decent idea; a feature allowing one to create a 'best-of' challenge (and pardon me if this already exists and I just haven't seen it). One could challenge an opponent to a best of 3, 5, etc with losses for games forfeited until there is a winner. That way only people who wanted to be forced to accept a rematch or take a loss could play with themselves the way they want to play

How can you tell if someone never accepts a rematch, just because they decline one rematch ? Maybe they just don't want to play you again or maybe they have something else to do.

Been on this site a few years...by far the lost retarded post I've ever seen.

Another clown that thinks we must accept rematches.  Many times, when I play, I literally have time for one game (i.e. Last 10 minutes of my lunch break at work).

Also, I have a rule that I do not accept rematches from players that turn off communication at the start of the game.  I rarely say anything during a game anyway, but it says a lot about the personality of the player and I have no interest in rematching such snobs.  It's even better if I win, then the rejection of the rematch might actually piss them off like the OP of this thread, but hey, if you are going to shut off communication, I'm going to shut off rematches!

I disable the chat because I dislike fake politeness or insults. There's nothing wrong with that.

This is not a practical idea. What makes you think that the person has time to do a rematch? What if he's playing during lunch and has to return to work or has to take kids to their team's sports practice?

Second, you think one or two games is going to prove who is the better player?  You think a 1391 rating means you'll "crush" someone who just beat you?  And maybe your opponent wants to experience playing against as large a variety of players as possible. Why should he play you again?

I've won and lost to the same players and could care less about proving I'm better than any particular one. I just enjoyed the player's style and enjoy moving on to other opponents.

Sometimes I'll totally outplay the opponent positionally and tactically the whole game, only for them to get a lucky mate when I'm not looking. That's not fair. If I'm losing rating points to an obviously inferior player, I want the ability to earn them back. I can think of many times when I was crushing my opponent, and than I got distracted and lost. I just want the ability to prove my superiority over these players and get my rating to its proper place (probably 1800 ish)

Make up your mind.  Are they afraid you will crush them again or did they get lucky checkmates?  Why was the checkmate lucky?  You mean your opponent was lucky to play someone so unskilled that he blundered into checkmate?

I have a better suggestion and I've stated it before on other rematch threads created by other crybabies who believe a rematch is their God-given right.  Change the function of the rematch request button so that when pressed, the player's account is immediately terminated.

They are afraid I will crush them because they know I am the highly superior player, but they got lucky and escaped with a win.

You're the highly superior player who blunders into checkmate.  How is that possible?  How do you find opponents far weaker than you on a chess site?

cellomaster8

C'mon, GROW UP. Who cares if you can "crush them"? YOU shouldn't be getting distracted in the first place. Unless you are losing every single game like that, don't complain. Your rating proves that you're just bragging without any evidence to support your claims.

udayaprakash

I never requested for a rematch and also never accepted for a rematch! How can you expect a win for a game never played?

wanmokewan

Why can't people just shut up about this already?  The OP is a donkey crevice who is never going to change his attitude because it causes conflict.  Ignore him already.

BorpB0rpImA737
Who are you? Nobody! While I am directly descended from Charlemagne. No wonder ur rating is bad!

Leave.

Uhhhh...BorpB0rplmA737? wanmokewan is rated higher than you
