many new accounts
I'm not an expert, but I think ip numbers change each time you log on. Is that dynamic ip address? I think the only way to overcome this is to have some kind of identity check, which would be difficult I imagine? It makes me wonder sometimes if I really want to continue with chess. Anonymity seems to be the preferred state for many. It''s a shame.
Some of those getting banned are titled players too.
Over 110,000 people join per day. How does having a new account correlate to cheating in any way? If anything people who just joined are going to be looking for games as that's probably why they joined. Old timers like me who have already been playing games for 6+ years on here are more likely to be hanging out in the forums, replying to messages, watching live games, searching for interesting topics..etc, than be in the live game pool at any given time. So it's more likely to encounter young accounts when playing games, not less.
Cheating is something people tend to do after being frustrated losing. Most cheaters probably didn't start cheating at the start of the account (although I have seen this in daily).
And hikaru just post a video were he comment that cheaters can not be found even tho they cheat here. People can cheat and will never ever get caught. Bc there is no vac.
I almost forgot discussion of cheating is banned in the regular forums. It can only be discussed in the club for it "cheating forum".
Maybe if chess can introduce a new filter, only play against players with 1000+2000 games or more. Or play against members who have been here for more that 1 2 3 years and so on. Or something that.
If someone beats me with 5000 games and have accuracy 90%+ i dont care. But new accounts with only 90accuracy wins then its annoying

Well that's excessive, as some people only play a few games a week.

If you feel any of your opponents or other members are using disallowed resources, you should report them. The site has a dedicated team to handle fair play and closes tens of thousands of accounts each month.
