well I never said it was chess... it's like Axis and Allies the board game, it's like risk but on steroids
Here is a link to gothic chess, board is 10 x 8 and there are 2 new chessmen with unique moves. There is a demo computer program you can download and play against.
I think it would be rather awesome if there was a board that was 16x16. More pieces too. Like, Checker ability pieces. Move diagonally forward one space and jump to capture. And other cool stuff. We'll call it something other than chess though... pretty stupid idea eh?
