Trolling accounts for 99% of this thread. Even girls have more meaningful conversations.

Gosh, I really like this. And true, member points are pointless, though I like them!
You're the one giving teens a bad rep. Instead of teens being stereotyped as ents nowadays, we're stereotyped as what's above me
BTW, RON KONY 2012!
I am humbled by your chess set creating greatness... lmao peanuts on wine corks... lmao
i was looking for explanation about points, where they come from, what for, and now i know xD posts? what else?
Kind of ironic that points are pointless, though I guess it makes sense if you think about it long enough
The only reason that points are given is to indicate how active you are on chess .com
You can't say that: People play chess and don't comment, so they can still be very active without member points.
I like information. If someone is a member for two years and has only (x) member points it tells me how likely I am to hear from said person in a Vote Chess Match or ect. . . again.
I haven't really investigated the point system, as chess.com is not particularly user-friendly. If some good samaritan would fill us in on how points are accumulated, it would be appreciated.
FM BS, each time you post on a forum topic or someone's profile via a note or in the groups on the community board it counts as one (1) point. This reply is 1 point. you last post was one (1) point. That's it thats all.
