imho it's more economical to shave. 5 mins on the face twice a week. 5 mins 1mm trim on the head every 4 weeks. think of the time & money saved.
How fast do they grow and how often do you change the blades
[my father in law refuses to change them till its worn, which is totally unhygienic? No?]
once the shave doesn't feel smooth enough - typically 3 months :-)

only twice a week? you're lucky to not have a heavy beard.
regarding your economical comment, i would agree. for me, it was about two minutes a day to shave everything. earlier today, i trimmed the beard, shaved the neck. seemed to take forever.
I haven't spent a dime in 8 years on my hair or beard. It's like free money I can spend on beer.

The only rules that apply at this face off is the rules of chess. No rules on beverages, prize for the winner will be the bragging rights, number of games depends on how many beverages are consumed, and the time clock is only for serious money.
