Minority party in Congress

This seems to be the battle cry of the Minority Party in the U.S. Congress

I don't see why this has anything to do with Chess and I don't see why the Dems get picked on here when they're the ones responsible for Social Security, aid to Britain before the US got into WW2, Medicare, National Education Standards, NASA, and near-Universal Healthcare while the GOP fought/fights against ALL of that and it's hard to think of ANYTHING the GOP has done that has a long-term positive effect on the non-wealthy.

Mickin, I said the minority part, not Democrats.  I worded it this way because  last time when the Repubs were the minority party they did the same thing.  The intent was for this to be a light topic.

BTW, the first thing that comes to mind the GOP did was the interstate system.
