My best guess is because some people thought it was referencing a harmful stereotype towards latina mothers. I don't really care about the bot, but Chess.com also removed archived games with her in it, which is a shame because I managed to beat a 2000-rated bot for the first time ever, and because it had the Chancla bot, the archived game was removed.

It's not only latina mothers, it's asian and african too.
