More or less?

You'll see this guy on the forum from time to time. He's helpful and friendly. IIRC he started chess later in life, and worked to improve as much as he has. His blog is pretty good too.

He's also played about 50 thousand games on chess.com, and has commented a few times in the past that if he had instead spent that time doing study and tournament games, he may have gotten a master title.

I have a friend who had over 100 thousand games here, but he deleted his account (he complained he was addicted, and would spend almost every waking hour on the weekends playing chess). He's been rated in the 1500s for years.

I myself, for a long time, relaxed after work with some alcohol, blitz chess, and loud music
A lot of fun, highly recommended if that's your thing.
I played every day, but I didn't improve (in fact it set up roadblocks for improvement later).
He started chess at eight, and started anew with a different approach (reading chess books) at 15. He reached his peak OTB rating at age 52. He teaches children and is addicted to blitz. If the time spent teaching beginners and playing blitz had been devoted to productive study, he would be stronger.

Four Player completely increases your regular chess skills.
When you get the hang of it, and aren’t swayed from again returning to the arena because the regulars instantly radar’d that you’re new and that’s a quick +20 for them when the most points wins.. The board being much more vast and double amount of pieces and the 1 minute given along with 15 second prep builds your focus, having to watch two other opponents than usual, all of it bigtime increases your regular game. ....just saying

I'm looking back at some of the stuff I wrote here, or questions asked, and it's embarrassing x) but I have improved tremendously thanks to the advice here and through many sessions of practicing and playing chess.
Still haven't played Rapid that much but Daily games have improved me a lot, especially tournaments I love tournaments as an experience and as a concept, used to struggle advancing through the first rounds but now I almost always advance though I haven't played that many Daily tournaments but I have hit 1700 Daily. Puzzles/tactics, puzzle rush and drills have all improved me beyond my expectations, used to struggle pushing 1400 at tactics or puzzle-solving and I'm 2200+ now, easy. I also enjoy practicing chess "vision" and 4-player.
I analyze and reflect on my games, always, and I try to be all-rounded and not neglect any format or aspect of my game, therefore, I'm currently sitting at or near my all time peak ratings in all my formats.
