It's all in good fun. Did Bobby Fischer ever have a girlfriend in his younger chess playing days? I'm sure batgirl would know the answer to this one.
Most beautiful female player on this site?

Elwood,
If that be the case then chess.com should rename the website chessheaven.com. I dare say that the two of them combined would be a rather extraordinary being.
We should all feel gracious that they are participating in what has been classified as a man's world and accept their differences, not exploit them.
Be thankful, batgirl has been a very important part of why I keep coming back to this site. Read her posts, check out her website.
Once again I agree with ChessDweeb. I have much respect for Batgirl. I have learned much from her input. Her content keeps me coming back too.
On another note, we have to find something we disagree on. No offence, but I don't want to become the ChessDweeb toadie. How about Hockey? GO SABRES!

There we definitely disagree. Red Wings Rule the ice. http://redwings.nhl.com/
Buffalo, hmmm. It could be worse. There only 25th out of 30 places.

I will attempt to put this argument into context as best I can. In Magnetar/FanofAlba, we at chess.com can see the apotheosis of the ever-adolescent male. However, in ChessDweeb and Batgirl, we have slightly older, more mature players/personalities. If we ask ourselves how they gained that maturity, the answer is likely through life experience. Magnetar/FanofAlba, however, have a different mindset, and have failed to learn from their life experience because of many possible factors. In other words, ChessDweeb has a completely different, more mature mindset gained through knowledge and time.
FanofAlba, on the other hand, does not have this mindset, and, through inability to change or egoism, does not have the ability to understand the others viewpoint. He will never be able to see the wisdom and maturity of ChessDweeb's viewpoint because he cannot comprehend, or feels it does not apply to him.
Give it up people, we have two very different viewpoints born of many different factors, and each side has an inability to see the others point of view.

In some ways it must be tough to be a female chess player because the first thing anyone ever notices about you, and possibly the only thing they ever notice about you, is that you are female (and then of course, how attractive you are).
I guess the same probably applies to female physicists too. Marie Curie gets to go down in the history books regardless, though.

I go to school with one soon to be two, and are you sure that you have not actually met a couple of the 7400 members. How many live in your State, Country, or even Continent. There are many people that you could have talked to or even played on the site and then met in the local Starbucks, and not known they had a page here.

Hey King William,
I'm having a good laugh now. You definitely would have to shave your legs to get my vote.
