I agree that a simple hello or good game is'nt to much to ask, but one time I started a game with somebody and I said "hey hows it going?", he replied with "what?" I then said "How are you doing?", and then to my astonishment he replied "its just a game" (What the he!! is he talking about) Have you been staring at a computer screen so long that you cant tell when someone is asking how your day is going? Anyways since then I only chat if they initiate conversation.

There are certainly psychos here, but don't let that stop you from doing the right thing. To chat or not to chat, this is not an issue of right and wrong. It's fine to do so, and it's fine not to do so. But when somebody initiates polite conversation, ignoring it just makes you a loser.
