It's a real shame that one of Cheaters posts has reached these depths.
I can understand Erik being annoyed/angry/very p**sed at the comments made by him, but suggesting some form of arbitration is playing straight into his hands and is a waste of time. He'll never accept the verdict. Personally, I have no doubts over Eriks credibility.
Firing people up is Cheeters oxygen. It would be far better to let him post and lock the thread immediately so that people can't reply. He'll suffocate. Perhaps you could enable replies when he starts playing a few games? Just a thought.
I quite like reading Cheeters delusional posts and I'm sure other folk on here enjoy a good laugh too. It would be a shame to see them blocked.
Cheater_1, you say you are in IT. I take it, therefore, that you will be accessing this site using Firefox. If so, you can download Adblock Plus, an addon that removes all advertisments from the page. (Sorry Erik et al I know that's how you make money but I just hate ads).

Adblock plus doesn't disable most banner ads.
schofio - there is an excellent way to completely avoid all ads on chess,com: become a STAR, like me, and MBickely, and so many others.

I need some time to think about my options. I will be "out of the office" on Tuesday and Wednesday, so I will make an announcement Monday or Thursday.
I wonder how many people noticed that ERIK JUMPED about 10 feet into the air when I mentioded BET and MONEY. It kinda goes back to my original statement that web site designers are motivated PURELY for $$$ and not passion.
Also, I wonder how many people (ERIK OBVIOUSLY DIDNT) noticed that in my original statement that I said: AND I QUOTE, " I can not pass judgement as I do not have all the facts. Remember, I only deal in FACTS and will not speak before I think. But more likely than not, I'll bet there is not a passion for CHESS in their personal and private lives."
More likely than not may mean 51%. And this is the DISRESPECT that I get for making a statement like that. HOW DARE YOU SIRS? And being so close to my anniversary and all..this is just outright RUDENESS. I will not tolerate Rudeness directed at me!!! My GOD, you'd think I just insulted his own mother.

Friends, when you're dealing with a whining, petulent child such as cheater1 it's best not to respond to their drivel. Eventually the child becomes weary and shuts up.
It can't be considered rude to throw your own words back at you cheater. You clearly called out all of the admins of this site stating that they only created this site to make money. I know from doing research on start up costs for businesses that most people actually lose more money in the first few years of a business than they actual make. In other words, there is no profit! Pure and simple and it can't be denied from the many posts that the staff here has made about this site, they really do have a passion for chess and this site and they really value true and honest input about how this site operates. They have also stated many times that they can't make all the improvements that are suggested by the users of this site because as it has been said before, these things cost money. You run off at the mouth and sit back to see what kind of havoc you can wreak on this site and just as soon as someone challenges your view point and your so called righteousness, you start hurling insults at the very ones that have put up with your whining ways. There is no way out of this one because everyone on this site may enjoy your little rants, but you best believe that it won't lasst much longer. So go and cower in your little corner for now, and just come back and accept the terms that have been layed before you. Cheating in life is only going to get you so far and sooner or later, you will get caught.
I would not be at all sorry to see you leave this site cheater_1. If you think this site is turning into a dictatorship....leave? Is there someone making you come to this site?
its nice to hear he needs a few days to collect his thoughts. This whole thing has gone so fast from being an extreme cheater_1 post to a fork in the road. I encourage erik to grant him these days so that he doesn't have any judicial complaints.
Erik I would be more than happy to serve on a panel in this matter. I, like cheater_1 claims, deal in facts (part and parcel with being a biologist) and can evaluate facts impartially with no bias.
