My Journey to 2̶5̶0̶0̶ 2200

As I've beaten the online chess.com daily chess960 world champion, I have decided that I would like to be a world champion myself. 

As such, I will have to reach 2̶5̶0̶0̶ 2200 FIDE elo first. 

I have decided, like many other aspiring players, to keep a public journal / progress report with me. 

Every week I will document my tireless, grueling training, and share it with you, and also my rating progress. I just keep forgetting all the sorts of  ridiculous posts that I see here so often. 

The Journey to 2̶5̶0̶0̶ 2200 starts... NOW! 

(Also, I will not be documenting my progress like the other players did - what a waste of time)

Where are all the praises and wishes of good luck? This is my dream.

Your dream will most likely leave you broke and unsatisfied, statistically speaking. I would play in some tournaments to make sure you can actually hack it before your pursue it.

Good luck! With which OTB chess rating do you start?

Although I have a 2000+ OTB rating currently, I think it's fair that I start at 100. 

I will attain this 100 rating somehow first, and start from there, since that's what I consider fair. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I'm amending this to: journey to 2200. Which I think is a bit better. 

This has to be today's brilliancy prize winning comment!

I thought you already were the world champion?!  Someone claiming to be the Prince of Nigeria just sold me the set you played on to win the title.  Was I duped?
