you're claiming neurological activity measured by CT? I call .
you mean MRI and PET, don't you?
and what does this have to do with chess?

Hello everyone, I am proud to announce that I have received a PhD in Neuroscience with a focus on Neuropsychology from Stanford University! To help teach what i heave learned, I can share an abstract of the article which got me my thesis. My study primarily concerns chess, which is why i have made my effort to present this information to you.
Abstract
Students have long complained about a decrease in chess ability after enrolling in AP bio. Even after knowing that this dangerous class puts students in a psychologically damaging situation, still, ironically, the number of students taking AP bio is more or less not getting reduced to a desirable extent. In this study, we analyze a cohort of chess-playing high school students (n=134). We will divide those into students who will be taking and have not taken AP bio. Each group of 67 people will have their brains scanned before and after taking the class.
We conducted MRI and CT scans on the brains of those who took AP bio. We have discovered shocking findings:
Figure 1.1: CT scans of the brains of high school students before and after AP bio
In no less than 97% of cases, those who scored under a 1 on AP bio showed evidence of a cactus shaped abnormality in their brain. Testimony from the students revealed that they were forced to inhale a cactus seed as punishment. From these startling findings, we can only conclude that a cactus (Cactaceae) has been growing in their brain asymptomatically. As it has started to reach the frontal lobe, it has affected their ability to think, reason, and understand how positions work.
We can conclude that taking AP bio is extremely detrimental to one's chess potential. As a matter of fact, chess ratings have decreased markedly within 6 months of finishing the school year. As a result, we strongly urge high schoolers to refrain from taking AP bio until further research is done.
