Another puzzle. I missed the checkmate every aspiring player dreams of after 19...f6,
White to move, mate in 7 after 19...f6. This would probably have been rated around 1200 to 1500 on this site.

not impossible, i did it. it's amating net! you sac the knight to corrall the king to g8 and put your pawn on g6, then you mate.
Today I lost 200 points of my tactics rating. Sad.. really very sad.
easy... don't do tactics

Really, I should stop coming in the forums. People just discourage. Its better to use that time in improving.
there are two possible responses to my comment. The first is more common, which is recognizing that I was making an unfunny rhetorical response, and typing "lol". The second is believing that I really want you to stop, which is actually untrue. I couldn't care less whether you did tactics or not.
You chose to do the second. Irony works great on chesscom.
Wait you can stay on one puzzel for more than a minute. I thought they time you to do it in one minute. Nice so I can think about it for longer.
One more puzzle. From my game against a 1600+ just yesterday (I was barely above 1800 in bullet rating at that time), and obviously given my rating I am not skilled enough to realise that a mate in 4 exists in this position.
White to move, mate in 4. Two different variants to consider, each with a mate in 4.
This is rated 2417
I can't seem to find a way around this for some reason.
I solved it in ~20 seconds.
I was able to solve it pretty quickly too, strange it was rated 2417, that's why I posted it here
I can't solve that, mainly because I was too focused on mate.
