My Puzzles Rating Dropped

I was 3003 and I suddenly dropped to 1914. Why? This was on 10Oct 2025, 8:30PM GMT+ Kolkata.

But the graph too updated to the new rating.

My score dropped about 400 points as well. Might be a correction on the site because the puzzle ratings have been inflated tbh

Same thing, lost 1000 rating for no reason.

The punishment of 20+ point drop was already bad when you only get +5 for success (unless you are blitz level fast). Now having to grind it all again. that is brutally unfair. Time to head to Chessbase.

Same. Just dropped about 800 rating points in puzzles after doing my 3 free daily puzzles and getting them all correct... like wtf. It even shows my highest rating as somewhere in the 1500's when I was all the way up to 2350 at one point.

Are they smoothing out the curve? If so, why don't they fix the graph too? This has got to be a bug, right?

Same, I dropped from 2570 down to 1700.

Same with me, my puzzle rating has dropped and I didn't even play any puzzles?

Jeez. Well, there goes my desire to grind out puzzles every day.

Mine dropped 3344 into 1983

Mine wasn't as brutal, but I went from somewhere in the 3300s to 2400. Seriously hope chess.com gets this bug fixed, because I was on my way to a new highest and I seriously don't want to gain back 900 points by myself.
