Well maybe not favourite, but Serbian Svetozar Gligoric comes very close, I especially liked his book name "I play against pieces". What I've read, he was a true gentleman who did not take the game too personally, in other words he did not want battle against opponents but merely only the chessboard was his battlefield...

Alekhine!!!
Love his attacking combinations. Pills bury and Marshall are good too, but Alekhine is my top.
