Yes, I plan on not bathing, cussing out a few random people, then calling up somebody, making them wait there for several minutes, and disconnecting the phone.
National Chess Day

Oh good! It'll segue right into the Saturday Night Chess Club.
Well, unless you happen to be hungry or thirsty, it might.
Or horny.
I don't care who, you shouldn't say that on a PG site lol. i suggest you delete it. And then we can continue with more relevant topic (National Chess Day).

I suggest you not be so martinetish. And wimpy.
Jeez, what the hell's wrong with kids these days? Boggles the mind. No wonder all you want to do is celebrate National Chess Day.
Well October the 9th is Chess Day, but mainly in the US. I see that it is also the day after Columbus Day ( Thanksgiving up here ). Someone mentioned however that Chess Day might be moved to Saturday the 13th. The first thing that we need to do is send a Emergency Telegram to the FIDE President, unless of course he has been abducted be Aliens again ( I hate those darn Aliens ).

Wait a minute, are you saying that Thanksgiving in Canada is October 13?
Actually, I didn't even know you guys had Thanksgiving.
No our Thanksgiving is the same day as your Columbus Day. October 13th was mentioned as a possible Chess Day ( on the weekend because of all the Parties of course ).

Yes, it's officially on the 13th, a day after my birthday, which is Coloumbus Day. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/112/sres539
So, National Chess Day is October 9th (mainly for the U.S.). What are your plans? I'm planning to have a chess party the week before, but the weekend may be busy.
If you haven't heard of it, you should host a tournament or have a puzzle competition.
We should celebrate the day of chess, don't you think?
