Need advice!!

So I'm a 1700 and I've been really working hard to get my rating to 1800. I've been trying nonstop, trying new openings, learning endgame tricks, doing puzzles but I'm still just at 1700 after all that. if any of you whom are over the rating of 1700, can you please give me some advice on how I can really improve?
