This is not the first time as it happened another time opponent had 4 Q’s and a a rook and get a stalemate draw. Don’t get me wrong I will resign. But than when I see he’s collecting Q’s I said to myself I’m gonna ride this one out. I nearly passed out laughing when Got the stalemate happy

Stale mates are fun but are a bit more tricky at 2000+ better practice those eric rosen stalemate tricks

This is true. Never give up is important mindset in chess.

I think about it like Ancelloti or Pep Guardiola game management.

Even in the 89th minute if they are 0-2 down they will keep trying to score 2 goals in whatever minutes they have left.

What's notable is they also shout at the referee if they are 2-0 up in the 89th minute, anticipating and preventing their opponent from still in some world doing a crazy comeback.

so it works both ways
