I'm playing BLACK and unsure of what to do in this phase. I've posted before discussing how I've often been crushed by the computer on MED/HARD settings:
http://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/newbie---always-crushed-by-computer-in-openings
I've slowly been able to work my way past the openings without getting crushed now (usually, but sometimes I still get beat up pretty bad in the openings) and have trouble with the middle game portions.
I really love to get feedback/critique of things like my opening and overall progression of the game. I feel I'm unable to exploit the computer thus far, despite an unusual opening.
But, most importantly, don't laugh! I know my moves probably seem unorthodox and not very elegant or optimal, but realize I've come a long way from my other thread post (where I literally often got mated or lost major pieces in the first 10 moves). lol. So, please, withold all laughter for now!!!
Newbie Help: Suggest a Move for Me

people are not allowed to comment on games currently in progress.
That may be, but let me ask you this: What was the purpose of 9.Kd2 I thought the King wasn't an attacking piece until the end game? Why did white open with his Rook pawns? Well...goes to show that I'm still learning the game myself.
I apologize guys! I hadn't been aware of that rule. Thinking about it, I'm guessing it has to do with people asking help for rated games in progress?
If so, that makes sense. I was literally playing right at the time of posting (it was against the Chess.com computer) and figured I could get some in-game analysis.
I ended up finishing and getting crushed, lol, from a few mistakes later. I'll post a finished game next time! Thanks anyways guys!
Note: That move of the king, by the way, was WHITE - the computer. The computer really has whacky moves like that sometimes. I've never seen a grandmaster do stuff like that, lol.
