I think I prefaced the post saying it was my third year playing and I was excited to try a trap. I never said that I executed the trap in the correct manner, but I did produce the results and the idea behind the trap, which was the purpose of the post.
Now if you look at the other examples of the trap in different games posted you will see the "IDEA" behind the trap.

I had been a member of ICC and I always enjoyed Master Mark Diesen. He had given a lecture on this trap in the Italian game and immediately upon reviewing it I had to go try it out. At this time I'd only been playing chess for about 3 years.
This trap will work often in games because the moves look so natural for white.
