notmarktwain seems to be pretty helpful when members have problems. he's also not afraid to give a zinger if questions are stupid.

Is there ANY mods in this site? why anybody do anything about the runners and the cheaters who uses engines????? THEY ARE EVERYWHERE.

Brother Josh and Crystal Moon , from personnel experience as they have locked threads of mine , for breaching the no politics , no religion rules at cc forums , I tend to give them less work these days , but they have been fair to me even if firm , so those two mods get my vote , for doing their jobs effectively and without causing undue fuss ,

Politics and religion often are divisive subjects , yet affect many lives , however this site is a place to have fun in playing chess whilst meeting folk from all over the world , these subjects will not go away but its nice to have a place where they don't get in the way too much isn't it

Despite @crystalmoon and @david locking the bunny's content occasionally,  they've not muted/banned the bunny yet.   That's admirable restraint.   In the olden days of chess.com, the bunny would have been sent straight to the slaughter house, no questions asked.

Staff aren't considered mod.
