Can anyone comment on yesterday's game between So and Karjakin. Relative to the computer I thought So's game was one of the best I have ever seen. The computer on several occasions suggested g5 as the best move, but on all but the last g5 appeared to lead to a draw. When he did play g5, he appeared to have a win but erred with KxP leading to a stalemate. Credit to Karjakin, for the trick, but I do think the stalemate was staring everybody in the face and So for reasons of fatigue or carelessness did not account for it. On many occasions during the game his chosen line deviated from the computer's yet proved to be be better. Any comments. I know the Carlsen-Aronian game got much more attention but I thought So's play was preternatural.
