Dear me, I've never suspected that even in regular tournament chess it would be "ungentlemanly" to refuse a draw if you are winning on time (no matter the position, unless of course there is a logical impossibility, like in say K+K, where I have thought the draw is automatic). Not to talk of speed chess, but now I just saw a high rated rapid game here where a draw was agreed even though it looked certain that the other player was going to win on time though otherwise having a losing position. Wouldn't time be a central factor in speed chess? This is not sport, but some sort of elaborate medieval jousting...

People who premove their way to victory do not bother me as much anymore. We're here to become better players, not get better ratings, so if I get to a winning position but lose on time then I am still satisfied.
You shouldn't be. It's a trade off, and if they used more time they would probably have a better position.
