The app is more convenient for me and I realize you launched ad hominem attack on the last guy who said this but of course this question is more a matter of opinion. Give both a try! Determine which is better for you and go forward with that option
Depends....both have great features. Website has better access to "Analysis" but app does better with "Puzzles"

To play chess games puzzles and lessons, the app is good. Really for anything else like using the forums, go with site.
