Candidates Tournament 2016 is running in Moscow. 10 to 30 march. Anand just won in first round against Topalov.

Hou Yifan is leading by 2 points after 7 rounds against Mariya Muzychuk in Fide Women's World Championship.

Reykjavik Open is also running.

I think people can pretty easily find this info on their own. And there are whole threads dedicated to discussion of each, individual tournament. You should consider a chess coverage site though that encompasses all of the tournaments. Especially juniors. I don't see that talked about much on here.

... its easy to track & share views if all in one. many lesser important tournament are not covered in news, & sometimes its little late to create a thread dedicated to a single top tournament...
