I think I broke the chat bots
#1 During the pandemic online chess is extremely useful.
#2 You may prefer OTB which is fine, But people are different, Some prefer online and there is nothing wrong with that.

I am totally agree with the idea that this website uses bots to cover some game requests depending on the time of the day.
I write from the Basque Country in Europe. Usually when I play at 8-10 pm I usually win 3 of every 4 games. Probably real people
When I lose is usually a normal game with human behaviour.
Suddenly I played some days very late or very early. It never takes more than 3 second to find an opponent. But the opponents with the same level 800-1000 are much stronger, sometimes with some movements that nobody could explain. The can just eat a horse easily and the move a tower or the king. How does that? Only IA makes this those movements. Some of the behaviours that I see are clearly strange to see playing with somebody who you know is human.
I understand that they do, they put these bots trying not to lose players who would go to another website if there is nobody to play.
I have a software company and we program a lot over the network. It is simply difficult to understand that whenever you push the button you find somebody within 3 seconds.
Last thing, I am from a little country, we are here no more than 200 players, I have found some people with my flag and when I try to chat them, they do not reply, it is absolutely impossible. They are bots

Yeah bots exist. That's why you should never be too confident about your rating, you might be extremely overrated.
