It's probably been written here before but I would just like to lodge my protest against the online chess pairing system. Specifically, I am in a one-opponent-per-round knockout tournament. We split the first round result and are paired to play each other again in the second round. Come on - chess.com should be able to do better than that. No put-down of my opponent is intended - I enjoyed my games against him in Round 1. But, irrespective of the number of players in a round, it should be possible to ensure a player does not get the same oppenent in 2 consecutive rounds.
