Thanks a lot, the link explained perfectly!

Yes, that sounds logical. But I wonder if it really works that way?
One of my opponents always uses about 65 hours in a 3 day/move game. He currently plays about 200 daily games, and to me it looks like he moves very slow in the other games, too:
- 10 h remaining of 72 h --> 62 hours spent
- 11 h remaining of 72 h --> 61 hours spent
- 12 h remaining of 72 h --> 60 hours spent
- 13 h remaining of 72 h --> 59 hours spent
- 15 h remaining of 72 h --> 57 hours spent
- 15 h remaining of 72 h --> 57 hours spent
- 15 h remaining of 72 h --> 57 hours spent
- 18 h remaining of 120 h --> 102 hours spent
- 19 h remaining of 72 h --> 53 hours spent
- 19 h remaining of 72 h --> 53 hours spent
- 19 h remaining of 72 h --> 53 hours spent
- 19 h remaining of 72 h --> 53 hours spent
In his profile, his average time per move is 1 day and 10 hours!
But maybe it is also only a glitch?

Or just wait for a glitch ... my time/move is 4 hours and I'm pretty confident I don't move that fast. At one point, it was around 24 hours or so and one day I got on and I was around 3 hours.

Another opponent:
59 mins of 1 day remaining --> 23 h spent
60 mins of 1 day remaining --> 23 h spent
4 hours of 3 days remaining --> 68 h spent
4 hours of 3 days remaining --> 68 h spent
4 hours of 3 days remaining --> 68 h spent
4 hours of 3 days remaining --> 68 h spent
4 hours of 3 days remaining --> 68 h spent
4 hours of 1 day remaining --> 20 h spent
5 hours of 3 days remaining --> 67 h spent
5 hours of 1 day remaining --> 19 h spent
6 hours of 1 day remaining --> 18 h spent
7 hours of 1 day remaining --> 17 h spent
--> Average time per move: 1 hour 28 minutes

This statistics looks really strange to me.
I have another opponent who moves when he has less than 60 minutes left. So he spends at least 23 hours per move, often even 71 h. Despite this, his average time per move is 2 hours 28 minutes???

I have a few 14day/move games that I don’t care about and move when the time is about to expire. Then there are games in the chess.com daily championship where I reply instantly or within a few minutes.
If either set of opponents looked at my average time they’d think it was strange.

Yes, maybe they move fast in most of their games and wait in those very slow daily games.
I usually move within a few minutes. Of course, sometimes the position is not easy and I really spend some time for my move. But I would say that I play fast. And my average time per move is about 8 hours. Your 13 hours still look fast, but at least it is a bit slower.
In a 7 day game, my opponent really waits a whole week each time. And his time is about 4 hours. It still is crazy to me.
So, I'm playing about 90 games at online chess at the moment, and I do about 20-30 moves per day, so how come my time/move is 14h?
Can anyone explain how is it calculated?
Thanks in advance!
