Only answer if you are clever

Dark matter is a mysterious perfect "black body" substance. Which means that it absorbs all electromagnetic radiation (light-heat) to which it is subjected. Hence, the name dark matter. It is a theoretical solution to a problem concerning galactic motion. Thus, the mass orbiting about a galactic center. Should travel with a velocity proportional to its distance from the center. Where most of its mass and, therefore, gravitational field,is concentrated. But, this is not the case. Which led to the conclusion that most of the mass with which a galaxy consists is invisible....i think.

There is no known connection between dark matter and anti-matter.
And there is no known connection between chess and dark matter.

Your answers should you choose to elaborate, will illustrate why the subject title was given.

Dark matter is only matter that's hard to find with a telescope. It's doesn't need to be a perfect blackbody: it can just be a decent blackbody, it can be transparent to radiation and therefore not affect it, it can simply not put out enough light nor obscure enough light to get noticed. There's no one answer to what dark matter is.

Except that it is not a thing that makes the original poster look smart when he asks vague questions about it, requesting only clever people answer. Stop letting Australia down, man!

Is it not a double standard to demand cleverness from peoples' replies while not posting anything clever yourself?

Don't worry about it. Answers cannot be clever or dumb in its own self.

For example, a 3 years old is asking you why fishes can live under water. You cannot answer it by quoting a biology professor though it might sound clever to you. So, find an answer that will satisfy the questioner.

Dial in the intelligence of the question, then give equivalent answer, even though the answer is not clever in its own.

I cannot give my own answer because I don't want it to sound too dumb.

Hint #2. Conclusive

Dark Matter was an American race horse that was born and trained on a small farm in the tiny hamlet of Three Leg Creek, Missouri. As far as is known the animal never  won a race though it gained some notoriety as being the only horse to be shot by Union soldiers in 1862 for being a confederate spy because it was grey.

If this answer is true (or if not), thankyou. Loved it!

Hint #3. Space, or your version of it. Yes there is an answer.

Yes, the OP, only if clever, should solve this: Poop?Laughing

There is an 'S' after 'matter' which makes me think she was merely making a statement, that dark is as material as light is, and should not be dismissed as irrelevant.

To chess minds she might have been thinking about the colours of the chess pieces.

I am pretty sure we all get it. Did you not notice how almost no one is giving serious answers?

Thanks for clearing that up.
