There are varying degrees of this type of post. OP has jumped in with both feet at level 3 and must be regretting it by now.
1. Can somebody explain what this move is with the pawn? I haven't seen it before.
2. I think there's a glitch in my game, the pawn made an impossible capture.
3. My opponent is cheating with an illegal move. I demand action!

Surely when you're reading up on chess, wondering whether to start playing, you find out about en passant. It's a pretty integral part of the game much like castling right? I had heard of en passant before starting playing but it was actually this site that helped me properly understand it.
