Optimal Weighted Chess Pieces?

The problem is that I'm deciding between triple or quad weighted chess pieces. The quad set being about 56 oz (3.5 lbs.) , and the triple weight being about 36 oz. (2.25 lbs.)
I'm thinking about getting the quad weights right now, but I'm not really sure.
I'm on a lower budget, and already have a board. I want to spend under 30$ on pieces, these are the ones that are the 3.5 lbs. and 2.25 lbs.
