Outrageous - Chess.com is Running an Engine on our iPads While We play

While chess.com does not reveal the details of their detection system, it does not involve running an engine on your device. There are many potential explanations for your device getting hot.

It is the same with Lichess app. Whenever you want s computer analysis, it drains your battery. It will definitely happen on chess.com as well.
Then how come I, who play regularly on my iPad and phone have not experienced this.
Or the other thousands of people?
Either.
1. Poor logic
2. Rubbish trolling.

McGleason is the chess.com authority on cheat detection!!
While I can't prove this beyond a shadow of a doubt, I have long suspected that chess.com is running analyses of our blitz games as we play, as an anti-cheating measure, and also as a way to pair you in your next game. (If you play poorly, you are paired with a lower rated player, whereas if you play well you are paired with a higher rated player, more times than not). What I've noticed however is that when playing on my iPad or iPhone, the device gets very hot when I'm doing nothing but playing a chess game in the chess.com app. This implies that rather than running the engine on their servers, they are hijacking my CPU in order to provide cheat detection. I do not consent to this, as it can be damaging to my iPad and it wastes energy I'd rather not waste. We need to protest this as a community.
