Who would win in a fantactic Game? Tell me who would win.

Easily Morphy ! :)

Ruy Lopez was primarily an "organiser of information",

but Morphy was a chess "juggernaut", called the greatest player in chess history by such luminaries as Adolf Anderssen.

Ruy Lopez was rated something like 1850 Elo while Paul Morphy was something like a 2500 Elo. So you could expect Ruy Lopez to lose almost every single game they played.

Ruy Lopez moved the bishop to b5 to threaten to "win" a pawn, that was his explanation, so try to figure out his rating based on that.

Paul C. Morphy played the Ruy Lopez.  Ruy Lopez never played the Paul Morphy.

Well, that is the thing you have to pay attention to when first studying the Ruy Lopez as a beginner - the threat of BxN, and then Nxe5. For him to see that hundreds of years ago, before anyone else (to our knowledge) took note of it is nothing short of visionary.

The moves of the Ruy Lopez were known and recorded nearly three quarters of a century the Spanish priest published anything.  The exchange doesn't win a pawn anyway, but it does affect black's pawn structure by doubling pawns on the c file.

JogoReal! All openings are named after a grandmaster or a country. So Ruy Lopez had to be a grandmaster.

If Morphy was tied up, blindfolded, and had whiskey poured down his throat then perhaps old Ruy Lopez could score a couple of games from a match.

Well there are some exceptions but you were using the openings actually named by a grand master. You can search up Ruy Lopez and find him.

And he is not a country!

Yesterday I heard that Hippopotamus Sodium beat Caruana in the Tournaments by a three point margin
