Pawn masacre

I just finished this game, that I think is funny. It is a pure pawn masacre... at move 22 my opponent (black) positions his queen in a very strong position. But it is also a very passive one. A few moves later he makes some mistakes that destroys his pawn line and cost him a defeat - I capture four pawns and a knight in a row, without losing anything myself... At the end he has only one pawn - I have seven. The player was rated 170 point over me (I'm on 1500) so it is not a beginners mistake... well - I just think it was a funny game ;-)

If you have any comments on the game, I will be glad to hear.

I don't know the meaning of the term "hilarious", but if it in anyway means that my opponent played bad (as I did in the game posted by "King_William"), that is not my point. My point is first of all the rare situation, that a knight capture four pawns in a row, without losing something. Secondly to discus if there were any qualitatively point in the moves... doing the five moves I realy wonderede wether I was going in to a trap. And third, the rare situation that one player loses seven pawns, and the opponent only one, in a 45 move game (I would have losed one more, if black had not resigned).

Sorry if it looked like I was trying to make fun of my opponent or so - that was not my intention. He is much better than me.

Black thought he had given you the coup de grau at 22.....Qh3 and was pre-occupied with trying to overcome Rg1. Your vacuum cleaner approach on the pawns, rather than attacking f3, gave him a false sense of security. Had he 25.... Nd8 it would have halted your knight and then Rf6, you would of had that problem you were afraid of.  It would of been interesting to see whether he could get his pawn to h4 or not. As long as he was willing to give you the gifts...........

You are probably right, but letting your opponent clean the hole queen-side for free is a big sacrifice I think, leading to great disadvantage.

28... Na5 must be a mistake. Trying to attack b3 and from there the queen and the rook, overseeing that the Knight will be captured.

But if the strategy is to let the opponent vacuate the queen-side, then you should build something up while he does the cleaning. But the black rooks just moves around, letting my knight do the cleaning. It is mysterious to me... Could black mayme gain advantage of the "empty room" or something like that?

Why do you think pawn on h4 is interesting? If he captures g3, I play Rxg3 attacking the quee and backed from f2?

Well after 24. Nb5  black could of moved Ra8 to d8 you go Nc7 planning to fork the rooks at e6.. Rf3 stops the knight...Nd5 attacks the rook and Rf2 keeps him out...depending on your next approach I would guess Qd1..he goes Nd4 .. threatening Nb3 if you take the knight Bd4 his e5xd4 opens the middle for his bishop to apply pressure for the pawn to arrive at h4... but then again he didn't do that and you don't have to defend Nb3 and getting the pawn to h4 with the bishop backing him up and still having the g pawn and king to advance might be a little interesting..

Your second game was decided at d5, he didn't know what to do and you slammed the door ... relentless attack ...
