Hahaha. The number of comments has nothing to do with the amount of support. Frankly, I think that 10 minutes feels much more rapiddy than blitzy. I haven’t seen so many panties twisted into a bunch over nothing since I admitted that I liked pineapple on my pizza.

I, for one, think it’s ridiculous that the world chess champion should be decided largely on classical chess. The only reason for this is tradition, not anything special about long time formats. I think to be “the best” in chess, you should be able to play well in all formats. There should be classical, rapid, blitz, bullet, and hyperbullet sections, with the winner having to win 3 of 5 categories. I mean practically nobody plays classical chess anymore, why should it be given the most weight?
