In Barkovsky-Korchnoi, the White Knight can occupy f6, but it is Black's move, and the GM offered a draw, thinking of parrying the threat with Bd6. White accepted, and was somewhat perplexed to be told he had a win:

The f pawn is defended by the Queen, and there is no good way of making use of the discovered check, as the White Queen is under attack,,,
