Chess Grandmaster Nigel Davies has been invited to come to Leeds Chess Club on Sunday 28 November to give a chess simultaneous for just 10.00 per person. As Nigel is a hugely popular figure on the chess circuit , I will have to limit this event to 30 entries only and will be on a first come, first served basis. I will keep an up to date list of entrants here so that you will know whether there are any places available.

About Nigel

Nigel Davies (born 1960) is an English chess player from Southport. He is also a chess coach and writer who holds the title Grandmaster.

Davies was British (Under-21) Boys Champion in 1979 and British Rapidplay Chess Champion in 1987.

He is currently rated 2494 and his peak rating was 2530 in January 1995.
