You realize, don't you, that a person's internet connection can be of excellent strength, yet still unstable and prone to cutting out frequently?

No, of course you don't, because your ego will not allow you to accept that you just straight up got outplayed. Obviously you lost because the other person must have been cheating.

I really doubt anybody at your level is cheating. I know if I was cheating I would be rated a lot higher than my current rating of 100-something.

It was obvious they were cheating, regardless of the internet connection issue. There have been countless times in which I have been gracious in defeat, so your blind assumption that I have an ego is wrong and I pity the fact that you are so quick to form an impression of me. However, I am confident that my reaction to the game in question is warranted albeit a rare reaction. I do not believe I was outplayed.

How is it "obvious" they were cheating?

How is it "obvious" they were cheating?  EXACTLY!  Cheating cannot be assumed on one game. Chess.com will look at a number of games if they have suspicions.

If you weren't outplayed why did you lose? Would you not expect to be outplayed if they really were cheating?

Both of you played horribly, which is to be expected at your rating. 633 beating 643 hardly qualifies as an upset, especially when the 633 then loses to a <600 player.

i looked at the game--both sides played horribly. If he was cheating, he has to start using a better engine.

bruppa ; I perfectly understand your disappointment.A friend of mine have reported at least a dozen of cheaters ! They all got banned! Meanwhile his rating dropped...It`s rather unfair, don`t you think?

Yes, if a cheaters account gets closed his opps should be informed by message and they should get their points back.
