*&$^ players with disabled chat. I dont want play without chat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps you will be good enough to explain why? You can chat during games with your friends but chatting during serious games is generally frowned upon. Why should you be so bothered by the occasional person who prefers to avoid any distractions?

Well gosh 80's, I can't understand with that attitude why anyone would want to block you from chat. Your level headed and intelligent arguments should sway some to your side.

Chess site...  Remember..  Why don't you try out a site where they chat primarily and maybe play chess secondarily...  

I bet you'd complain some people disable their chess games....

I never turn off the chat at the beginning of a game, but will immediatelly disable it if my opponent says anything remotely sarcastic or distracting. Preceded by "STFU".

I like chatting about random stuff, not just typing obscenities. Unless they're funny obscenities.

If there was such a site, I would have made the switch already. Unfortunately, no such site exists. That gives me an idea, should I start a site like that...? Dunno 

And this is why I auto disable chat.
