When I first turn on my computer and go to chess. com to play its computer I put in a rating of 1200. The first game it plays against me it makes very strong moves and usually beats me. The second game I play against it ,it seems to make weaker moves e.g moving its King on the fourth move when it is not in danger,exchanging its rook for my bishop,etc.
Is the computer trying to be nice to me and let me win after it beats me in the first game or is it my imagination and it plays every game at the same level?
