I don't quite understand your question.
If you want checkmate to be removed from the site, then how will anyone ever win another game of chess? After all, isn't that the object of the game itself?
Please get rid of that stupid checkmate rule !!

Qixel, we have reported your request to the governing bodies that be. We will be creating an alternate form of chess per your request...are there any other rules you would like changed? How about a 7-day free vacation to DisneyWorld before the start of every game? 
Finally a rule sugestion that makes sense.
Checkmate isn't logical at all. Even when a player has a massive material advantage, there is this stupid rule that he loses when his King in taken. That is not fair at all.

I was playing an OTB game and when my opponent was about to checkmate i kindly (and rather forcefully) ask the rules official whether it was possible to declare checkmate null and void. Needless to say, he just stared at me. He rudely said if i couldnt take the game seriously i shouldnt play at all.

It is easy to claim you already had that idea when another person gives it.
You had a chance for making this great contribution to the game but did nothing. You should quit chess forever, to forget such a shameful waste of opportunity.
Maybe not according strictly to the topic, but I lately I wondered why King is weak piece that needs care and Queen is the strongest piece on the board. Doesn't quite make sense for me.

I really, really hope that this is a joke. The whole point of the game is to surround the enemy king whilst keeping your own king safe. If you don't like the check-mate rule in regular chess then you deserve a 501 rating...

Can't believe anyone took this seriously.
I like the checkmate rule. But I can't always do it in my lightning games, even when up a piece. So let's consider abolishing the time rule ;-)

It's not a troll thread, OP humorously refers to all the threads about suppressing rules which annoys those who can't comply to (stalemate, pawn promotion...).

Sir/Madam you go too far ....my objections to pawn promotion was very legit as the queen used to be a terribly weak piece hence pawns got promoted to queens 'only' then queens became all powerful and as a gross oversight the rule was never adjusted accordingly.
Refering to me as a 'whiner' is akin to a slap in the face with your glove.

Note that I made no remark about your analysis skills nor did I refer to you as a whiner.
Do you know how many games of chess I lose because of that ridiculous checkmate rule?
