Possibility of a Triple check???

although you probably haven't or it's an illegal position.
Good point. Not knowing how to post a diagram would be suspicious anyway.

Okay. That makes NO sense!

We've had all the good answers. Ghostess Lola said basically "yes, as long as you make an illegal move first", in which case the sky's the limit", and a few other people said "yes, if you include some non-standard pieces". Thus the piece that chains together knight moves but is blocked if any of the chain squares themselves are occupied (the piece is called a nightrider), or the piece that can only make a move if another unit is in the way (the Chinese piece mentioned, and other variants; or a fairy piece called an equihopper). Otherwise no.
I'd also ignore all the attempts to count two line-piece on the same line, since the rear piece isn't able to take the King and, for instance, a King on a8 checked by Rooks on a1 and a2 can respond by blocking or by taking the Rook on a2, meaning this situation is not like the usual double check where the King must move.

@gingerninja2003, not a possible one.
i know i was illustrating what RAIF999 was saying

Are you high?

(#71) "yes, as long as you make an illegal move first", in which case the sky's the limit"
....I'm not so sure about that. Remember, ur constraint is u still needta move the piece (i.e., the way it moves correctly) right. Yet it can be a 2-ply move as I showed in Quote #17. IOW's, u can move INTO check and then ur oppnent can create a triple check (or quad, 5-way, etc.) from there.
Even if both side moves a piece illegally, I still think that you cannot create a quadruple check....let alone a 5-way, 6-way, etc.
Not in a real game. @gingerninja2003 what happened to the pawn on g7
Perhaps a "knight-passant"?

Triple check and mate
Really great one! If white was allowed to make two moves at once, you will still never get in this position! Nice guess, though.
