So, the way it works is actually very complex.  String theory is a sub-category of quantum mechanics.  Quantum mechanics is basically the same as saying quantum physics.  I know, as if it weren’t complex enough to understand.  But then, Bohr, who was arguing against Einstein back then, introduces something he basically called quantum entanglement.  This was a complete violation of Einstein’s Holy grail.  The basic idea is that sub-atomic particles become entangled. And March to the same beat thereafter.  In essence, the theory holds that there is a sub-atomic rhythm the entire universe marches to.

so then, string theory comes along.  This is getting boring, so try to stay focused.  So string theory claims with equations that there is a sub-molecular minute bouncing occurring that creates about 7 additional sub-molecular dimensions.  It’s all apparently happening on such.a Small scale that it is untestable with our current technology.  However, those super colliders are built for billions of dollars to try and see it.  What they want to do is split a hydrogen atom, then watch as a particle simply shifts into one of those other seven dimensions.  The particle will appear to vanish, based upon our level of 3-dimensional perception.  Well, 4 dimensional if you count time.  This is not child’s play.  We know that quantum entanglement is real, and has superseded Newtonian physics.  Even Spinoza and Einstein have been proven wrong.  So far, the string theory equations are all we have as an attempt to make sense of the sub-molecular level.  But something is going on at that level.  I’m a fan of Occam’s razor, which leads to being skeptical about string theory.   But something is going on that humankind can’t quite put a finger on.
